1. How can you tell if 2 terms are alike?
Thay have the same variable and exponet.
2. Which terms can be added?
The only terms that can be added are the terms that equal the same thing.
3. What are the steps to adding a polynomial?
Example: (2x+5)+(4x+3)
You should first combine like terms.
Must have same variable and maybe an exponet. Do not add Exponets!
Add vertically:
2x+5
+4x+3
6x+8 is your binomial.
